PCA is a group of licensed, clinical Pastoral Counselors with advanced degrees, certifications, and specialized experience in individual, group, marriage, and substance-abuse training. Our mission is to bring a reliably high standard of spiritual and psychological care to those wounded in soul and body, to serve hurting individuals and families with Biblical truth and psycho-social insights, assessment, and intervention. This therapy helps develop a spiritual and behavioral balance and maturity as each client is counseled with Biblically-focused therapy.
PCA is also committed to assist the church by providing training seminars in counseling ministry to local churches and other organizations in order to train and empower care-givers in each local body, extending the outreach to those in need and recognizing the reality that responsible counseling is included in the Great Commission to make faithful disciples of Jesus Christ.
Having all worked extensively in church settings and having led congregations of their own, our pastoral counselors understand the complexities of working with referred members of local church bodies, and especially understand the importance of the link between each client and their faith community. PCA counselors can work as extensions of each church’s counseling department either on church premises or at our own offices in order to best strengthen each client’s spiritual growth and connection to their home church as an ongoing part of their healing and growth.
